**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (BSNC) is seeking a full-time Payroll Technician I for the Anchorage, Alaska office. The Payroll Technician I duties include, preparing, processing, and reconciling payroll for employees in multi-states and multiple companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter and review weekly, bi-weekly and semi monthly timesheets for union, SCA and non union employees.
Process and review weekly, bi-weekly, and semi monthly payrolls for taxes, medical and other deductions.
Enter payroll information into system.
Calculate exception items such as bonuses, garnishments and termination.
Process employment verifications.
Assist in tax related issues.
Submit 401K, Garnishments, Union payments, Child Support and tax payments for payment.
Responsible for compiling, copying and insuring all filing and payroll reports are filed accurately and timely.
Review and update employee leave records.
Process weekly certified reports and monthly union reporting.
NON - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Requirements :
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three (3) years payroll work experience.
Ten key by touch.
Ability to meet weekly deadlines.
Ability to balance multiple competing priorities under deadlines.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment.
Dependable and punctual.
Preferred:
At least five (5) years experience in payroll.
Previous experience processing payroll in a multi company environment.
Medium level of computer skills required, including proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (Excel) and email system.
CostPoint experience.
Deltek Time & Expense experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Good ability to manage one's own time and coordinate with others.
Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
Use computers and computer system software to enter data or process information.
