We are looking for a Recruiting Manager for our national recruiting center based in Salt Lake City,UT. A successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience managing a 10 person TECHNICAL recruiting team, three years of Information Technology recruiting and staffing experience for contract positions and a minimum of six years of overall experience in recruiting. This person will be passionate about technical recruiting, have great people skills and have a successful track record of hiring, developing and building top notch recruiting teams. This person will be a key member of the organization and will help grow and develop our recruiting operations based inSalt Lake Citythat services out national accounts. This person will have a demonstrated track record in managing both experienced recruiters as well as hiring, training and mentoring inexperienced candidates with the potential to become excellent performers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day work of technical recruiting team that will grow from seven to fifteen over time
Responsible for supporting individual success for each recruiter
Organize, manage and drive overall productivity of the team
Become an expert in the core areas of technology (Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing and Quality Assurance & Testing) for the company in order to effectively support and manage the recruiting efforts in those areas
Approve and assign requirements for team members to work
Help team members with interpreting technical requirements of job orders and guide them on sourcing techniques, search strings and resources
Perform quality control on resumes submitted by the team
Ensure internal process compliance for recruiting
Ensure an effective submittal and fill rate on all open orders
Lead/facilitate weekly internal meetings to discuss talent needs from our clients
Serve as location manager responsible for the office
Coordinate monthly internal team events
Performance Coaching: Meet with each team member weekly for one-on-one discussion regarding workload, candidate and client issues and to review metrics and provide coaching
Mentor recruiters to elevate their individual performance
Counsel team members on employee issues
Requirements & Skills:
2 years experience managing a 10 person TECHNICAL recruiting team
3 years experience in Information Technology staffing for contract positions (Direct and VMS clients).
6 years overall experience in recruiting
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
A passion for technology
Thorough and detail oriented
Positive team player
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems degree.
