Position Overview Reporting to the Logistics Center HR Manager, the highly driven HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting a unit of approximately 600 non-union Associates by implementing and analyzing various HR plans, related HR cycle programs, supporting the effective communication of HR programs, and other activities as directed. Additional responsibilities include: Driving associate relations activities to ensure alignment with Winning Culture principles and unit strategies. Partnering with management on engagement best practices, action plan development and execution. Managing 3rd party staffing vendor relationship to ensure sound execution. Partnering with unit management to identify logistics bench strength. Making recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, and improvements to HR services, programs and procedures. Disseminating communication vehicles for HR programs and services to ensure Associate awareness and promote engagement. Partner with unit management to drive Associate communications. Aligning with unit management to ensure HR and Unit goals and objectives are met, and WINNING TOGETHER principles are top of mind. Requirements Qualified candidates will possess the following: Bachelors or Masters/MBA in Human Resources, Organizational Development or closely related field with 2-3 years experience in the Human Resources with a Generalist focus. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to interact and partner with all levels in the organization, is required for success. PHR/SPHR a plus. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who has the desire to advance further in Human Resources within a large organization and would be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Ft.
