Position Description
Purpose of Job: To serve as the internal expert for all matters relating to employee data reporting, budgeting and analysis.

Reports to: VP, Compensation Design

Compensation Analysis (45% of role)
- Lead/Assist with global compensation projects
- Serve as co-owner of leadership compensation database
- Key contributor to HRIS implementation
- Collaborate with Compensation team to provide ad hoc reporting

Workforce Tracking & Analysis (35% of role)
- Ensure the HR department’s workforce accounting and the financial department’s workforce accounting definitions/timing/processes are in alignment.
- Provide regular reports to leadership regarding headcount, open positions, turnover, and all other workforce statistics.
- Work directly with regional and country HR and financial staff to collect and consolidate information, resolve discrepancies, and make recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate on important internal and external HR and business presentations.

Human Capital Budgeting and Expense Management (15% of role)
- With support from manager, coordinate the budgeting and expense management process for New York HR
- Serve as financial analyst for major HR expenditures; build the business case for significant HR project budgets, develop cost/benefits analysis and determine best financing option(s).

HR Metrics (5% of role)
- Collaborate with all HR leaders in developing relevant metrics which monitor and serve as indicators of progress/success
- Construct and publish a regular HR dashboards/scorecard for both business leaders and HR leaders.
Position Requirements
• MBA or related advanced degree
• Strong software skills in excel, access and powerpoint
• Strong data mining and analytical skills
• 5 – 7 years experience in finance or budgeting, preferably within HR
• Prior compensation experience a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
