Please visit our Web site at **** Responsibilities We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRIS Payroll Analyst at our Newport Beach office. This position is primarily responsible for the support, design, implementation, and maintenance of PeopleSoft HR Management System - Payroll assuring that required code testing, debugging, and documentation are completed according to specifications for on-going support, upgrades, and new functionality.
Responsibilities: Functional Lead with some technical knowledge for PeopleSoft Payroll Production Support
Act as liaison between functional group and IT
Recognize business processes that can be improved through technology and or business practices as they relate to payroll and recommend/build solutions
Create business requirement documents to ensure technical specifications can be developed
Document specification, user manuals, procedures, and other relevant information
Monitor trends and new developments in Payroll and make recommendations for new technology enhancements
Ensure that data integrity is maintained by placing proper control checks when processing data
Provide set-up, configuration and maintenance of tables within the PeopleSoft system Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university and/or 4-8 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent to a combination of education and work experience in the area of Payroll and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Understanding and knowledge of Payroll business processes and data needs
Knowledge of PeopleSoft processes and configuration – in one or more of the following areas: T&L/Payroll/HR/Benefits/ELM/eRecruit/ePerformance/ESS/MSS
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents and business requirements
Advanced analytical, quantitative and project management skills
Must be detail oriented and quality driven and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have demonstrated problem-solving skills
Ability to create queries using PeopleSoft query tool or other report generation tools
Ability to analyze and interpret Payroll, HR, and Benefits related data
