Pentair is currently seeking a Director, Executive Compensation & International HR in their Minneapolis, MN headquarters. Essential Job Functions Work in conjunction with other Human Resource leadership and management staff and other functional leadership groups to develop, implement and administer compensation plans including all incentive and deferred compensation plans Provide guidance and assistance with expatriate and international compensation design and compliance Prepare appropriate information required for SEC and proxy reporting Assist the Vice President of Compensation and Benefits with the development and presentation of compensation strategy, objectives and overall deliverables to Executive Leadership and Management Lead the annual compensation recommendation processes including merit adjustments and annual and long-term incentive awards Monitor external best practices and governance standards and propose policy or plan design changes as appropriate Assist with analysis and preparation of materials for Compensation Committee meetings Act as liaison with external vendors, as appropriate Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state legislative requirements governing executive compensation Provide administration and communication of all incentive and regular compensation plans to ensure a high level of employee understanding Lead on-going compensation planning, design, and execution of special initiatives, such as acquisition integration, restructuring, etc. Provide practical and legal compensation knowledge and best practice expertise to HR and management team Oversee the management of International HR and Global Mobility programs, and executive compensation programs Ensure a high level of service and oversight of compensation programs pertaining to the executive population Build effective and trustworthy relationships with all levels and functions within the organization Responsible for three direct reports Requirements **This position will be located in Minneapolis, MN. Company will provide full relocation assistance.** BA/BS required; Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of Executive Compensation experience is a MUST 5 years of strong management experience, including designing and managing successful executive and sales compensation and incentive plans along with experience integrating compensation plans from newly merged and acquired businesses 3-5 years in a publicly held global company preferred Demonstrated ability to partner and build strong collaborative relationships with internal department leadership (Payroll, Legal, Benefits, Finance, etc) as well as external vendor relations required Excellent analytical and organizational skills Excellent knowledge of current trends and practices relating to executive compensation Strong decision making and interpersonal skills working in a fast-paced, global environment Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within the Company Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion; communicate effectively; establish and maintain solid relationships with staff members and vendors Click Here to Find Salary Information for this Job >> CareerBuilder.com Advice |
