Human Resources Assistant Responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative tasks within the HR department including but not limited to coordinating various projects and facilitating their completion through follow-up with other persons involved in the projects; acting as a liaison between the HR department and various vendors; handling certain ongoing projects as assigned; scheduling and coordinating interviews, meetings, seminars, and office events; assisting with new hire orientation; working in a HRIS system and preparing various types of reports. Performing clerical support functions, including screening and handling telephone calls; routine filing; compiling and collating various documentation. Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum three years of general administrative experience. Knowledge of law firm culture and procedures preferred. Must score 40 wpm with a 2% or less error rate on the Firm's typing test and 76 % or higher on the Firm's spelling test. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills, detail oriented with high level of accuracy. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Ability to work with all levels of Firm personnel. Position requires the flexibility to work overtime.
