Caritas Physician Network . - Department: Human Resources Job Description: Caritas Physician Network (CPN) is a physician-led practice organization with over 700 employees in total and comprised of over 400 employed physician’s. Our practices are both hospital and community based with over 70 in the hospital setting and close to 20 in community practice locations. We recognize that our staff are our greatest asset and will enable us as an organization to achieve exceptional care! In order to accomplish our commitments, CPN is seeking a highly qualified Director of Human Resources to manage daily operations of the Human Resources Department. You will oversee Employee Relations (ER) issues, ensuring adherence to ER philosophy and Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures. Working closely with the Recruitment Staff, this individual will coordinate Recruitment efforts, in addition to participating in wage and salary programs, and providing management training and conducting orientation events. Collaborating with a corporate team, the HR Director will develop retention and incentive programs to improve employee satisfaction scores, while reducing turnover. This individual will standardize HR forms, processes and procedures. You will assist with educating staff on benefits programs, and with training and organizational development initiatives, as well as other projects as assigned. Overseeing one FTE, this individual reports directly to the hospital President/CEO, with a dotted line report to the Corporate Vice President of Human Resources. This individual will have the best of both worlds! You will have the benefit of reporting to a very open and supportive CEO, who values HR, is personable and professional, yet down-to-earth, and highly encourages an autonomous environment! At the same time, the VP of Corporate Human Resources provides the knowledge, tools and resources at the corporate level to accomplish all HR initiatives. This position is located in the Greater Boston area and includes local travel to the various physician practices throughout our system. Additional Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the HR Department’s operating and capital budgets - Direct and manage performance and development of the HR staff and conduct department meetings on a regular basis; Communicate regularly with all hospital team members - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Experience and Qualifications Bachelors degree required 7-10 years of broad HR experience required, with deep employee (and labor) relations exposure Must have Human Resources Management experience within the healthcare arena. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong leadership and organizational skills, and must be a team-player. We offer a comprehensive benefits and compensation package.
