Senior Human Resources Generalist * Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process including but not limited to: o Position Requisition and approval o Posting of positions internally and externally o Screening, interviewing and selection of candidates for positions at all levels of employment. o Background screening o Maintenance of recruitment metrics o Conduct follow-up and exit interviews with the objective to manage the Bank's retention program * Utilize cost effective employment strategies that ensure the availability of required talent to meet current and future Bank needs. * Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to employment and career development. * Assist senior management in determining that the Bank's employee skill sets are in alignment with its business plans and strategic initiatives. * Use political, negotiation, influence and relationship skills to help managers manage the Bank's diverse population. * Maintain knowledge of the Bank's business plans in order to anticipate and ensure the availability of required talent to meet the current and future needs of the Bank * Develop and manage programs that promote the retention of key Bank employees. * Provide advice and guidance to mangers and employees on the interpretation of HR policies relating to employment, career development, employee relations and employee benefits in support of the effective management their human capital * Collaborate in developing and executing comprehensive programs based on corporate goals and growth objectives that are in alignment with the Banks overall organizational development strategy * Assist in ensuring that the Bank's employment practices and procedures comply with government regulations and Bank policy and objectives * Assist with ensuring the Bank's compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as, applicable state and local laws and regulations * Perform duties related to Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Performance Management and Compensation * Perform other duties as assigned Skills * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to apply negotiations, good judgment, coaching and listening skills when problem solving * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point,) a must, use of Visio a plus * Excellent dispute resolution skills * Detail oriented and time management skills are a must in management of daily projects * Ability to work well in fast paced stressful environment * Ability to work in a team environment Experience * At least ten years Human Resources generalist experience. Experience in Recruiting in fast paced environment, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Performance Management, and Compensation are required. Education * Bachelors' degree preferred. Graduate degree and/or continuing education in Human Resources disciplines preferred. Note: Minimal traveling will be required.
