Staffing Consultant Jobs
A staffing consultant is responsible for the recruitment, interviewing, and placement of administrative, accounting, financial, and other professionals. A staffing consultant interviews, screens, and tests applicants to determine their skill sets and individual characteristics to assess placement opportunities. A staffing consultant documents all of an employee’s work history, testing, absences, and work order information on computer. A staffing consultant develops and maintains branch accounts through inside and outside organizational activities and generates new leads. A staffing consultant maintains accurate and up-to-date computer database fact sheets or related documents on all clients and targeted potential clients. A staffing consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining client accounts through inside and outside organizational activities. A staffing consultant inducts, evaluates, and monitors job applicants to prepare them for assignments. A staffing consultant matches jobs to candidates and candidates to jobs. A staffing consultant builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and candidates.
A staffing consultant position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a human resources-related field. A staffing consultant should have a minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field. A staffing consultant should have working knowledge of staffing techniques and labor regulations. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are also required.
