An HR Assistant is accountable for preparing and placing advertisements for the recruitment process and receives applications and sends acknowledgement letters to the selected candidates. They are also responsible for maintaining record in HR database and arrange interviews in accordance with the availability of panel members. The HR Assistant handles all the process required for an interview such as organizing space, setting up the room where interview will be held, and prepare new contracts and employment packages for selected candidates. They should constantly follow-up with the interviewers to check the candidate’s status. Most of the time the HR Assistant manages the internal proceeding in an organization which includes arranging organizational training, maintaining personnel information, assisting with the appraisal and salary review process, and conducting liaison between employees and management.
