Compensation and Benefits Manager Jobs
A compensation and benefits manager is responsible for planning and executing compensation plans and monitoring benefits distribution to employees. Specific duties of a compensation and benefits manager include creating and maintaining company salary structures; planning and administering all base and incentive compensation programs; participating in and conducting exempt and non-exempt salary surveys; administering and tracking performance management programs; monitoring all benefit programs like medical, vision, dental, life, 529 program, voluntary coverage, 401(k), and travel benefits; researching and proposing benefit programs; communicating with employees, vendors, and HR regarding benefit programs and performing several other tasks. A compensation and benefits manager typically reports to an hr director.
A compensation and benefits manager should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in human resource management. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Several years of experience in compensation and benefits management are essential.
