We are seeking experienced Human Resources Generalist
for First Quality Baby Products. This position will be located in Lewistown, PA
Primary responsibilities include:
Administers hourly recruitment process, which includes arranging and conducting interviews, and tracking all openings.
Tracks applicant flow through HR Tools.
Schedule interviews with applicable departments.
Recruits new hourly and salaried candidates through advertisements in newspapers, websites, radio stations, etc.
Arranges for new employees to complete background checks, drug screens and physicals, and assists with random drug test program.
Conducts orientations for all new employees.
Regularly spend time on production floor to be available to all employees to ensure positive employee relations.
Assist with administration of medical, dental, life insurance, disability, 401K, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, and other benefits.
Organizes and scans all information that is included in employee files.
Enters and schedules training in the training database.
Coordinates events such as the Thanksgiving Meal, Christmas Party, Summer Picnic, etc.
Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
Assist with time and attendance administration and payroll processing.
Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
One to two years of experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
