KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, HR Business Advisor (Tax) to join our Human Resources organization.


Provide support to the Tax HR Business Advisors in the East Region (specifically NEUNY, NY Metro, NYFS and East regional service line support for International Tax) and work directly with National Tax Human Resources Director on special national Tax projects

Prepare, analyze, and distribute a variety of reports including turnover, employee engagement surveys, and assist with employee-related processes

Support and participate in the annual performance development processes, including interim, year-end and compensation planning

Work on special projects, developing project plans and managing through implementation and follow-ups


Minimum three years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a professional services environment

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or Business Administration or relevant work experience

Comprehensive understanding of HR principles; in-depth knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with knowledge of PeopleSoft

Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to develop clear and concise written communications and prepare performance documentation

Ability to build and maintain relationships with the firm’s partners and employees
