nnJob DescriptionnThe Talent Acquisition Intern is a supportive and cooperative Human Resource team member providing the best potential customer service, with specific knowledge in the administration activities of the Human Resources department. The main responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Intern is to provide general support to the teams and assist with full scale TA and HR responsibilities. nnJob RequirementsnEssential Job Functions: •Providing overall assistance and research support to HR and Talent Acquisition on HR policies, programs, recruitment and procedures. •Partners with hiring managers to understand requirements of job requisitions before posting position and determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.•Effectively builds and engages with talent communities through social media outlets.•Pre-screen candidates; facilitate the interview process and follow-up with hiring managers.•Accountable for tracking recruitment activity in applicant tracking system for accurate reporting of metrics.•Participate in campus recruiting, job fairs and employee referral programs.•Create the best candidate experience from recruitment through onboarding.•Assisting in supervising a variety of programs and policies regarding employees such as verifying employment, separation, and I-9 maintenance and audits.•Communicating with other department’s employees to provide information and assistance regarding recruitment, transfers, employment, personnel records and answer general questions regarding company policies and procedures. •Assist as needed in scheduling various meetings, employee programs and events in compliance with department needs. Qualifications:  Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related fieldRequired Experience: •Human Resource or Recruiting experience or relevant coursework.•Strong communication skills•High attention to detail•Strong ability to multi-taskKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:•High degree of skill using MS Word, MS Excel, Internet tools, Applicant Tracking, and MS PowerPoint.•Expert at managing multiple tasks, deadlines and projects •Knowledge of staffing and general HR policies •High degree of customer service in all areas of work •High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information •Strong initiative, self motivated and critical thinker •Ability to assist with multiple recruiting initiatives across business lines and locations to include the sourcing of passive talent and demonstrated technical recruitment.•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Vision: Close Vision, Depth Perception, Distance Vision, Ability to Adjust Focus, Peripheral Vision, Ability to Distinguish All Colors     Physical Requirements:  Office environmentWork Conditions: May require weekend and evening hours.   May require travel. r r r SG is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
