Profile

Leadership responsibly to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) of the Payroll function making sure of timely reporting. Ensure Key Production Indicators (KPIs) are accurately tracked to maximize and improve services provided. Responsible for directing and managing all payroll staff and processes associated with multi-company, multi-state payrolls. Processes payrolls’ ensuring accurate completion within time schedule and monitors all tax and other payroll deductions. Responsible for payroll related set up and table maintenance of HRIS and time and attendance systems.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

Monitors TSSC KPI's and SLA's and evaluates performance of staff.

Provides continuous training and dedicated training for new Payroll FSSC staff.

Primary contact between property staff and FSSC Payroll Staff.

Authorizes payroll funds transfer(s) from company to bank account(s).

Maintains an understanding of Finance concepts, methods, standards, principles, and technology, and makes sound decisions and recommendations based on that understanding.

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of current and evolving best practices and industry trends.

Monitors overall KPI’s and SLA’s of FSSC and continually looks for improvement.

Is accountable for the review of Kronos inputs and reports including: salaried PTO, tips pooled tips tip variances and the close of Kronos.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Detail-oriented.

Experience with various software applications, such as Excel, Word, Lawson, AP, etc.

Possess and maintain knowledge of, and accurately apply, generally accepted accounting principles and practices (GAAP).

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Experience with standard office equipment and the ability to use a 10-key.

Communication with various property management personnel.

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
