The Human Resources Coordinator will support the front line operations of a busy Human Resources group across a range of functions including Recruiting/Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits, Leave Management, Compliance, and Training & Development. Administer HR policies, procedures and programs of multi-state temporary staffing business.
HR Data Management:
Enter employment data into HRIS system(s) for initial employee setup and any employment-related changes.
Maintain data integrity through various system audits.
Assist employees with performing functions within their self-service accounts.
Maintain accurate and consistent employee personnel files and other related HR files.
Support all aspects of PTO process.
Partner with HR Manager on administration of FMLA / LOA.
Assists team with reporting, tracking, and enrollment of eligible employees and their benefit deductions.
Answer general employee questions regarding benefit plans and eligibility guidelines.
General Administrative Support:
Process Verification of Employment requests.
Administer and track Unemployment claims.
Handle and/or direct employee inquiries regarding various company policies.
Own administrative process of Employee Referral Program.
Assign employee trainings and manage their completion.
Assist with special HR projects as assigned and provide general support to HR Manager and team.
Extract data from HRIS and/or compile data from other resources to prepare reports for HR Team and other departments.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
2-3 years’ experience working in an HR role; recent college graduates with relevant internship or other work experience will be considered
Extreme attention to detail at granular level, with capacity to see big picture
Customer service driven approach with professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong HRIS experience, with broad knowledge of MS Office Suite and remote technology
Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
High integrity and ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
Enjoys fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment that focuses on a team oriented approach
Ability to work 30-40 hours per week onsite in our Overland Park office, with possible remote work opportunity
Demonstrates flexibility and reliability, with willingness to work occasional long hours and weekends
Operates autonomously with a foundation of trustworthiness and accountability
