We are positioned to make a dramatic impact on the culture at Johnson Controls, by influencing hires with quality, diversity, speed, and cost.As a Senior Talent Acquisition Generalist on our team, you report to a Talent Acquisition Manager and are responsible the full life-cycle of recruitment. To deliver on this objective, you prioritize the urgency and importance of your requisition load and build pipelines of qualified candidates for critical roles. You also work closely with you manager, hiring managers, and HR business partners to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow that meets diversity and overall recruiting goals. In addition, you support our talent attraction programs by owning the responsibility for recruiting from a specific university campus, and support military and diversity recruiting events as needed.DEMONSTRATED COMPETENCIESAs a Senior Talent Acquisition Generalist on our team, you have a disciplined focus on your customers, executing attention to their needs. You’re analytical, considering data from multiple sources & relationships, can identify links between dissimilar data sets, and draw conclusions & assumptions that will best benefit the business.SHORT-TERM EXPECTATIONS• Understand and execute talent acquisition process, and meet service-level agreement expectations• Educate yourself on your functional business responsibility, and identify and engage key relationships• Set expectations and good communication habits with customers• Gain historical understanding of assigned university campus hiring programLONG-TERM EXPECTATIONS• Identify priority / critical roles within your functional business responsibility, build a sourcing strategy / recruiting plan for each functional area, present the plan / gain support from stakeholders, and execute the plan.• Establish yourself as a brand ambassador for Johnson Controls, and create business-team brand ambassadors within each area of functional recruiting 

','!*!REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience• 6 Years minimum experiencePREFERRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or related fieldPREFERRED SKILL QUALIFICATIONS• Competence in developing digital candidate sourcing strategies• Knowledge of recruiting & staffing laws, including OFCCP and VEVRAA• Technology aptitude - experience with Taleo (ATS), Avature (CRM), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other direct sourcing tools• Foundational understanding of the Boolean search language, and how those search principles apply to both internet and database searches
