We have a Lead Human Resources Business Partner vacancy working as part of the PEX team here at Guild Group. You’ll be the lead partner for the insurance business, our largest business unit and you can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This is a 12-month parental leave vacancy.

We have lots of great stuff happening in the insurance business, over the last 9 months we have created brand new senior leadership positions including a new EGM of Insurance, Head of Claims and Head of Strategy and with their colleagues, they are driving an agenda that will sharpen our strategic planning and execution, building and strengthening our digital strategy and being clearer on how we use analytics and business information to make better decisions.

The Role

As the Lead HRBP, you will partner with and coach leaders in Guild Insurance to support our employee experience as well as continuously improve employee engagement. You will play a key role in supporting business change and embedding change framework into the business’s ways of working as well as guide and coach leaders to manage and resolve complex people issues. As well as provide coaching and development to one direct report. You will work alongside and be supported by the talent acquisition, learning, OD and HR Support teams.

About You

Naturally, you are a seasoned HR professional with strong Business Partnership and leadership development experience. You will have developed your excellent communication style, relationship, and project management skills in high-change environments. You are tertiary qualified, preferably in HR, business or psychology and you are well known for your innovation around problem-solving, dealing with ambiguity and offering practical and thoughtful solutions. As a role model and ambassador to others in setting and upholding company values, culture and performance standards you will be well supported for success in this highly visible contract at a great time in our evolution!
