We have a friendly, servant-leader culture with significant growth opportunities.OVERVIEW:This primary role of the HR Recruiter is to support the day-to-day activities for the recruiting and hiring for all non-exempt and various exempt level positions. In addition, the HR Recruiter will be a knowledgeable and experienced professional to support the planning, development, and overall customer delivery for the HR department. Requires proactive daily interactions with UCG leadership and supervisory staff and external contacts to source, recruit, select, hire and orient new staff.DIRECT REPORTS: NoneQUALIFICATIONS:RequiredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 4-5 years’ work experience in staffing or recruiting functionsDemonstrated experience in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring, and program marketing at high volumesExperience with researching and utilizing on-line recruiting sourcesAbility to coordinate and attend career sessions or job fairsEffective communication skills with others, individually and in teamworkPossess the ability to produce well-written documentation including letters, ads, email, internet posting, web site content etc.Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills with proven ability to set and meet deadlinesDemonstrated maturity, independence, flexibility and creativity in the performance of job duties and responsibilitiesAdvanced proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office applicationsPreferredCoursework in Human ResourcesDirect knowledge of Social Services, Foster Care, Licensed clinical professionals and\/or the requirements of staff for Community Care LicensingHands-on new employee orientation training experienceKnowledge of applicant tracking tools and databases specifically ADP is a plusRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):Proactively establish strategic and effective recruiting and sourcing methods including local and regional media or internet job boards, colleges and universities, community groups and organizations, etc. to implement the agency’s recruiting process and meet staffing plansConduct all recruitment and staffing responsibilities in a professional, timely manner and in strict support of the agency’s commitment to fair employment and non-discriminatory employment practices, and licensing and accreditation standardsCollaborate with hiring supervisors on applicant screening criteria, interview questions, evaluation criteria, and recommendations for hire.Extend job offer to position salary and benefit package advantageously for candidate acceptance. Must be knowledgeable of all benefits including personal time off, holidays, health and wellness plans.Track all internal and external job applicants to generate status reports at each step in the recruiting and placement cycle including data points such as date of applicant resume, resume screening on specific job criteria or specialty proficiencies, qualified applicant pool for interviews, hiring team outcomes and evaluations, and job offer date and report to work date.Completes the hiring process including gathering and documenting pre-employment verifications and reference checks, criminal history check, health screenings, and driving recordPrepare new employee personnel file and ensures compliance with all program and\/or Community Care Licensing standards and maintain employment files accordingly at the Administration and Program OfficesUnder supervisor direction, evaluate and implement the New Employee Orientation program for continued improvement to ensure that the on-boarding process and training plan allows each new hire to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become effective organizational members as new staff.Work with hiring managers to develop, write, and revise job descriptions for new and existing positions.Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition patterns by generating monthly and\/or quarterly and annual turnover reports and provide ideas for improved retention.Review, research and implement applicant and employee retention record systemEnsure that agency recruiting and staffing policies and procedures are updated and available via internal channels such as employee handbook and policy manualsAdhere to state and organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines; ensure Unity Care’s employment, training, safety, labor relations, personnel, and related policies are in complianceConsult supervisor and\/or Executive Leadership in matters related to compliance with state and federal regulation and recruitment and hiring abnormalitiesMaintain and safeguard the confidentiality of employee personal informationPromotes cultural awareness and competence within the agencyAssist in employee related or team building activities as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Compensation We maintain a collaborative learning environment where people are challenged, grow, and have fun.
