OfficeTeam is searching for an HR Generalist to join a rapidly growing operations team. In this role, will strive to create an environment that fosters open communication, a shared vision, and a commitment to improvement for all employees. The HR Generalist is responsible for providing a full range of human resources support for a single site manufacturing and distribution location. The position partners with managers to implement and administer various HR programs such as but not limited to: recruiting, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and regulatory compliance such as affirmative action or equal employment opportunity. This temporary to full time opportunity is located in NW Portland, and is available exclusively through OfficeTeam. Responsibilities: ? Interpret policies and procedures and provide guidance to managers and employees to ensure company and regulatory compliance. This requires staying current with company policies as well as local labor, state and federal regulations. ? Coordinate with management team to develop and implement programs that drive employee engagement and connect core values to operational objectives. ? Conducts investigations related to employee concerns. ? Champion roll-out of HR programs and applications and provide subject matter expertise to employees and managers. Areas may include performance management, benefits, time and pay. ? Work with managers to ensure proper administration of performance management, documentation of disciplinary actions and proper action upon terminations. ? Assist with the administration of engagement surveys and the implementation of subsequent action plans.
