Requires strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team and act as a consultant/advisor to the business. This includes planning, strategic development, bench marking and managing the design and delivery of base salary and annual incentives and ensuring the business and employees understand our equity and recognition programs. The ultimate objective is to ensure these programs support the attraction and retention of a highly engaged workforce. This position works directly with HR colleagues and business leadership to improve the effectiveness of these programs.
Team Development- Managing, building, developing and inspiring a team of Compensation Partners
Change Management- Leading and driving change to ensure market competitive and modernized rewards programs
Program Management- Leading the compensation planning cycles, including base pay, equity and bonus processes
Compensation Design- Design of cash compensation programs including base salary, bonus and recognition programs
Tools & Technology- Selection and design of compensation decision making tools and process. Provide guidance to HR and management on compensation decision making, including how to leverage each program to help attract and retain talent
Consulting and Partnership-Work jointly with Compensation Team, HR Business Partners, HR Managers and Leaders to identify issues, conduct research/analysis to determine the root cause of any gaps and to recommend solutions as well as drive global talent strategy
Communication & Education- Develop and deliver training as needed to ensure understanding of the company s total compensation philosophy, strategy and offerings
Modeling/Analysis & Problem SolvingLead the team to analyze the competitiveness of the company s compensation programs against market peers
8 years progressive experience in compensation program management, experience working in the technology industry preferred
Experience providing compensation consulting/support to client groups within an organization
Experience conducting education/training for management and non-management audiences
Strong analytical skills, including use of Excel
Working in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
