This Talent Management position focuses on the training and development of leaders at Xcel Energy. In this role, you will create and curate learning materials, help design various components for leadership development programs, and then support the overall execution of those programs as well.
*Work alongside Talent Management Consultants to create comprehensive Leadership Development programs. Provide thought partnership and support. Complete project tasks. Lead the design efforts of individual program components as assigned. *Research various leadership topics; identify the best videos, articles, and eLearnings that can be recommended to leaders; create micro-learning content that is quickly and easily consumed; update existing SharePoint sites with these materials or build new sites to host the materials as needed. *Coordinate training events. Schedule rooms, calendar invites, facilitators and guest speakers. Communicate with participants by proactively providing information and by responding to their questions. Prepare training materials. Order food as needed. Gather and record participant feedback. *Serve as system administrator for Leadership Development systems. Manage permissions and assignments. Answer systems-related questions. Work with vendor as needed to troubleshoot. *Support the overall Talent Management team in various other projects or tasks.
*Working on a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Leadership or similar *Applicants must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. *Must have excellent written communication skills *GPA of 3.0 or Higher *Within reasonable commuting distance of Minneapolis, MN
*Pursuing Master's degree in Training, Leadership, or HR is preferred *Familiarity with developing and implementing training programs
