The Talent Acquisition Manager inthe Industrial Power Systems Division of Caterpillar, Inc., has ownership of thefull life cycle recruiting strategy and process, which includes the sourcing, recruiting,and hiring of employees for professional salaried and production level rolesacross all division locations and departments.The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing a team ofrecruiters and sourcers globally, the majority of which are located primarilyin the United States, United Kingdom, China, and India.The incumbent must coordinate with otherCaterpillar divisions. Job Duties\/Responsibilities mayinclude, but are not limited to: Overseeing therecruitment processes for salaried management, support, and production employeesglobally Working closely withprocess owners in the Regional and Global Recruitment organizations to provideefficient and effective service to customer facilities Developing and managingthe organization\u2019s global sourcing strategy Managing the full lifecycle recruiting process to facilitate the filling of internal and external roles Ensuring job postingsare comprehensively completed by the hiring manger (eliminate unconscious bias) Capturing dataanalytics throughout the hiring process that the HR Manager can utilize to helpimprove long-term employment trends Strategic relationshipmanagement with key customers, such as hiring managers, process owners,functional succession planning groups, and HR Managers Ensuring the team isfollowing standard work to maximize efficiency Coaching and makingrecommendations on effective recruiting strategies to hiring managers Ensuring the processrequirements to screen applicants, administer assessments, conduct targetedselection interviews, facilitate drug screen and background checks (asappropriate), make job offers to candidates, and schedule new hire orientationare fulfilled expeditiously Managing thecollection, processing, and storage of all hiring documents, as required Ensuring all hiringactivities follow applicable company policies as well as appropriate local lawsand legislation Assigning work toensure proper workload to streamline and accelerate the process Managing theperformance, development, and engagement of the team Creating and maintainingrecruitment metrics specific to the organization in order to forecast cyclicalrecruitment peaks Moderate travel may berequired (10-20%) Required qualifications: A college or university(four year) degree and 5 to 9 years of Recruiting experience Top candidates will also have: Experience working inthe construction, distributed power\/energy or heavy manufacturing industries Experience withPeopleSoft and Taleo Strong data analyticsskills Experience with HRprocesses and service functions Excellent communicationskills Strategic and creativethinking abilities Excellent Leadershipexperience Familiarity with complex,matrixed organizations Experience working inglobal organizations and supporting global teams Caterpillar is not currently hiringindividuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship foremployment based non-immigrant and immigrant visas.However, as a global company, Caterpillaroffers many job opportunities globally which can be found through ouremployment website www.caterpillar.com\/careers Relocation assistance is availablefor this position.
