V. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Tasks involve the ability to sit for long periods of time, may require lifting of 5-10 pounds.
Most tasks are performed in a standard office environment; however, when not in the office environment, tasks may be regularly performed with exposure to adverse environmental
conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, snow, fumes, heights, temperature extremes, noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic
hazards, explosive hazards, toxic agents, radiation, disease, pathogenic substances, vermin or insect infestation, violence, gang or criminal activity.
The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues (although any work environment presents some small risk of exposure to body fluids). Individuals who
perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid. The normal work routine may involve tasks that involve
handling implements or utensils, the use of public or shared bathroom facilities or telephone and personal contacts such as handshaking.

External Description:
I. OVERVIEW/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position will support all aspects of Human Resources for the location hired and all other locations as needed with an emphasis on general administrative duties to ensure that HR workflow is
efficient and effective.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Human Resources Department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.
E-time Temp Clock set-up.
Prepares and maintains employee files.
Assists with and prepares HR-related correspondence.
Makes photocopies, faxes and emails documents, and performs other clerical functions.
Completes PAFs (Personal Action Forms) & turn in completed paperwork to payroll.
Enters payroll information into HR database & create basic reports.
Administers pre-employment tests; drug screens, processes requests for background and reference checks, and verifies new hire information, including I-9 documentation.
Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel and helps to coordinate the use of temporary staff. May assist in the interview process.
Maintain tracking of diversity efforts and gather data for the balanced workforce internal assessments.
Schedule and administer drug testing.
Prepares and submits appropriate documentation to Unemployment firm and assists with unemployment claims as needed.
Maintain process for obtaining and tracking applicant flow data.
Provide communications support (planning, drafting, and editing) for assigned projects.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
III. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company.
Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company.
Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
Associates degree with major course work in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, or closely related field or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year experience in Human Resource, or any similar combination of education and experience.
