Job Description

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Talent Sourcing Partner to join our Talent Acquisition organization, primarily supporting the Sales Functions within the U.S. business as a Full time Employee. Preferred location is Eagan, MN but open to other locations.

This role will leverage strategic sourcing methodologies, business intelligence, internal and external (social) networks, professional organizations, branding initiatives, and technology tools to build pipelines of both active and passive candidates in support of strategic business objectives. This position also includes all aspects of candidate generation and qualification from partnering with recruiters on developing sourcing strategies for priority roles based on candidate requirements, building and managing candidate pipelines, and proactively identifying and seeking out the best channels across different business units and locations based on business priorities.

Responsibilities:

External Talent

: develop a comprehensive network/communities and pipeline of talent within designated niches or functional specialties, and engage passive talents around open requisitions or future talent priorities

Brand Ambassador:

build brand recognition and successfully promote Thomson Reuters as an Employer of Choice by communicating and engaging with external talent effectively. Provide outstanding candidate experience.

Talent Acquisition Partnership:

build positive and effective partnerships with recruiting and hiring leaders which includes consistent and thorough communication on candidates, search activity and status. This includes meeting with recruiting teams and other stakeholders regularly to collaborate on optimal approaches to strengthen candidate pools; annual recruiting strategies and diversity initiatives; and prioritization of roles across the stakeholder groups.

Market Intelligence:

analyze and advise on competitive and labor market information, such as market trends, industry information, or other applicable intelligence in support of sourcing strategies

Technology & Tools:

Leverage current technologies and tools including CRM and ATS and maintain data integrity of all information. Take the leadership role in the use of sourcing technologies and tools and provide training to contract resources as needed. Research and pilot emerging technologies and tools.

The individual needs to be highly innovative, have high energy, be a problem solver; feel comfortable taking the initiative, making connections, able to work autonomously and thrive on delivering results

Qualifications:

7 years proven talent sourcing experience in Talent Acquisition with a combination of professional search and agency and in-house corporate Talent Acquisition environment strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of sourcing and research methodologies including online web tools, social networks and general pipeline development; experience sourcing candidates for sales roles a strong plus

Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and insightful advice, and consistent delivery

Strong customer and labor market focus and the ability to translate this into a targeted approach

Solid influencing skills and the ability to operate on a strategic and tactical level

Ability to collaborate and work with all levels across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization

Highly organized, and able to prioritize and adapt in a high demand and changing environment

Strong communication abilities (both oral and written) and strong capabilities to effectively promote key attributes of organization and career opportunities

B.A., or B.S. Degree
