As the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, you will support HRX, which in turn provides high quality, consistent service to U.S. Corporate and U.S. Property Team Members across a number of HR functional areas. As the HR Coordinator, you will respond to general Team Member inquiries as well as manage key HR processes. Ultimately, you will be the “face of HR,” ensuring every Team Member is treated as well as Hilton treats our Guests. What will I be doing?

As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for:

Assisting Team Members with general inquiries and questions through various mediums (e.g., phone, email, walk-ins)o Inquiries may include, but are not limited to, questions about benefits and PTO, payroll, leaves, unemployment, immigration, HR policies, Go Hilton, Hilton University, Global Team Member Survey, and other services

Reviewing and coordinating the new hire, transfer, termination and Team Member personnel change processes to ensure accordance with established policies, procedures, and timeliness o This responsibility will include data entry into Hilton's human capital management systems; use of Hilton's recruiting and application tracking systems; completion, submission and filing of forms as needed; and coordination with internal client groups

Facilitating New Hire Orientation, as well as coordinating all onboarding activities (e.g., processing job offers, processing and escalation of background checks) for new and transferring Team Members within the Hilton Reservations and Customer Care business unit

Supporting position management and payroll processes, including the processing of merit increases, promotions, transfers, and coordination with Payroll on retro-pay

Administering leave of absence requests, including Military, Personal, FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation and Disability, by processing and tracking paperwork; updating Hilton's human capital management system; interacting with Team Members and other work groups to ensure appropriate documentation is obtained and retained in compliance with FMLA and ADA regulations

Supporting the processes for employment verification requests, employment eligibility requests, Team Member relocation requests and other requests to be determined

Coordinating unemployment claims including gathering required documentation and submitting it to the third-party administrator(s), and scheduling unemployment hearings with key management and HR personnel

Partnering with vendors on background checks, Form I-9s, workers compensation claims and other processes as needed

Maintaining files for personnel, as well as company purposes

Providing administrative support, including processing mail, maintaining files, as well as answering and routing calls and emails','!*!What are we looking for?To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Minimum Education: High School Degree/GED

Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year working in a Corporate environment

Minimum Years of Experience: two (2) years working in Microsoft office

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Minimum Years of Experience: three (3) years of experience working in an HR environment with knowledge of local, state and federal HR-related laws (i.e. FMLA)
