SUMMARY:
The Governance Specialist will partner with HR & IT stakeholders to ensure governance of HR information. This position will maintain an HR Governance structure aligned with business processes and apply the appropriate HR data governance by understanding HRIS data model and master data relationship.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and manage an appropriate functional governance framework
Ensure proper maintenance of all HR documents and Applications (act as the custodian of the HR library)
Provide recommendations to close any design and control gaps identified during audit procedures performed, interfacing with external auditors as needed
Ability to maintain the HR Data sets, translate the organization changes in new data when needed
Partner closely with Audit, Data, Compliance and Legal teams
Follow the audit frame for HR activities and reinforce governance
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree; Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education
Experience: 3 years of experience in HR, 1 years of experience with data management
Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement performance strategies across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills: Strong interpersonal skills; Effective time management and prioritization skills; Detail oriented with focus on quality; Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive positions

Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year.
