This position provides technical and analytical support to Talent Acquisition (TA) for TA system and technology need. Regularly identifies, designs and conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of talent acquisition data. The Sr TA Data Analyst maintains expert status in the recruitment data, systems and reporting procedures. This position identifies, designs and conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of system wide talent acquisition and human resources related data and provides guidance in making talent related decisions. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: development, implementation, management, training and monitoring of TA information systems, procedures and policies.. The position reports to the TA Operations Manager, provides guidance and mentorship to other TA Analysts, reporting SMEs and provides support to managers and staff in TA and other HR departments.
Required qualifications: *Five (5) years of experience in a data analytics function. Experience in an HR environment and working with HR data is preferred. *Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques. *Advanced analytical skills with the ability to assemble, organize, examine and present significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. *Experience extracting and analyzing data using a variety of enterprise reporting tools and data sources (SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Crystal Reports, and Microsoft BI). *Experience presenting and communicating outcome-based analyses to senior level executives for strategic planning and decision making. *Demonstrated ability to operate in an environment with ambiguity and ongoing change. *Skilled at building credibility and effective relationships with a variety of stakeholder groups. *Demonstrated proficiency in influencing and negotiating. *Experience educating others on basic data analytical techniques and concepts. *Experience leading complex projects through an established project management methodology. Preferred qualifications: *Knowledge of advanced data science and statistical analysis. *Experience in Talent Acquisition or other HR related functions. *Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo), Lawson and/or Avature. *Experience in the healthcare industry. *Active within the business intelligence / data analytic community. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *Strong understanding of data management and analytics principles. *Strong business and consultancy skills with knowledge and experience in HR. *Expansive knowledge of metrics, data, and business intelligence strategies. *Ability to effectively analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex data into relevant insights. *Ability to connect tactical deliverables with organizational objectives and strategy. *Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner. *High professional standards for customer service, confidentiality, and quality of work. *Knowledge of appropriate external benchmark data and services and its appropriate use. *Understanding of present and historical systems, people, process, data points, and data usage. *Knowledge of the rhythm of the business to determine opportunity for use of metrics. *Ability to work in a fast-]paced, technical, cross-functional environment *Excellent visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data *Significant knowledge of HR systems and databases (e.g. PeopleSoft, Access, Lawson, SQL, Oracle Business Objects). Working familiarity with systems and tools like Taleo, Lawson, Avature, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau, PowerPivot, and PowerView *Knowledge of Talent Acquisition business practices, workflow
