Summary: The HR Manager position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HR Manager acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HR Manager seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HR Manager maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and insuring regulatory compliance, partnering with the legal department as needed/required. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Under limited supervision role will lead key Talent Management initiatives to ensure that our internal teamNPS survey, effective 360 assessments, and career development tools and processes are delivered. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that are innovative, efficient, and add value across the enterprise. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Responsible for managing the compensation function for all divisions. Plan, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring through audits, legal reports and personal interactions that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Working closely with HR team, create and implement HR policies, procedures and workflow to build organizational structure. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Generalist role. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment. Travel Some out-of-area travel may be expected.,
