S\/He will also develop and manage core human resources infrastructure, manage employee risk, and help to establish an attractive culture by creating an environment with high levels of employee engagement, low levels of turnover, and a leadership team aligned to achieve strategic goals. Core Functions1.      Oversees human resources administration functions including benefits, program selection and implementation, compensation, employee relations, customer service, compliance, employment policies, and employee information systems.2.      Manages employee relations matters, resolving open matters as quickly as possible. Consults with legal counsel as needed. Drives initiatives aimed at the prevention of unfavorable personnel matters that expose the company to financial and hiring risk.3.      Partners with functional leaders to diagnose and implement solutions to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.4.      Continuously assesses and improves our hiring systems and procedures to ensure recruitment and selection processes are efficient and effective.5.      Develops progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs that utilize an employee and company partnership for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of the employees.QualificationsEducation and\/or Experience 1.      5 years of progressive experience in relevant People and Organizational Leadership roles, including responsibilities for system-wide project implementation2.      Bachelor’s degree required3.      PHR or SPHR certification preferred4.      Exceptional interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills demonstrated in presentations to small and large groups, formal and informal settings5.      Outstanding problem solver, strategic thinker, and decision maker, balancing data, wisdom, experience, and judgment to make sound decisions6.      Demonstrated success designing and implementing focused talent acquisition and retention plans in similar organizations7.      Prior experience working with growing organizational systems and staff8.      Knack for creating momentum and inspiring organizational change in a collaborative environment9.      Expertise in developing and improving culture is preferred10.   Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams11.   Proven positive role modeling12.   Proven consultative and coaching skills13.   Experience with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access) Skills and Attributes 1.      Strong attention to detail2.      Excellent communication skills3.      Creative problem solving and analysis4.      Self-motivated and results driven5.      Teamwork and collaboration skills6.      Excellent time management skills7.      Positive attitude and growth oriented8.      Desire to learn and improve performancePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
