RMC is hiring a Senior Human Resource Specialist to support our government customer in Indian Head, MD (Main Side) in Workforce Development. The selected applicant will advise management on the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive, on-going training program that will yield positive organizational results by providing the solutions to problems and issues that affect individual career progression; or that impact a specific occupational groups. The selected applicant will identify the means by which training and development programs can be prioritized relative to management needs and direction. The selected applicant will process, distribute, and maintain files for all training request forms and monitor the workflow in automated training systems, such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP) and future systems, and provide status on requirements in the training process. The selected applicant will assist managers and employees in locating appropriate training sources and research, establish, and coordinate in-house training courses. The selected applicant will review, document, implement, and continuously improve the Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) and professional, administrative and technical education and training program. They will assess the current requirements and opportunities for professional, administrative and technical education and training and develop alternatives to implement a cost effective program that meets the needs and requirements of the mission. The selected applicant will implement and continually improve the professional, administrative and technical education and training program.

A bachelors in Human Resources, Management or related field and ten (10) years of recent experience in analyzing, managing and improving major aspects of human resources, organizational processes and functions is required. Of the ten (10) years three (3) years must be in a Federal Agency environment. The selected applicant must have proficiency level with the Microsoft office suite. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work part of a team is required. The selected applicant must create materials and have the ability to facilitate trainings. Local and CONUS travel may be required for this position.

Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret Clearance is required to start . Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.> src=>
