Description: This position is the HR Site Lead for the Derco subsidiary of the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business, within RMS, located in Milwaulkee, WI. As a Human Resources Business Partner this position is also responsible for the execution of HR initiatives and programs and Business Partner support to leaders and employees for approximately 240 employees supporting the DERCO business - including all functions. This position will be a key member of the Derco leadership team. Key responsibilities include with the Derco leadership team to shape the future of the organization by identifying strategies that support near and long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for HR to engage effectively with management, demonstrate HR's value, and support change management activities. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching and consulting; developing selection and retention strategies and delivering on HR programs (i.e. Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition, Merit, Compliance, etc). Candidate must be proactive in identifying resources and formulating actionable recommendations/options for leadership. Must be able to effectively influence and communicate. Candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, perform in-depth analysis of programs and policies, and possess the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with employees, and all levels of leadership. Candidate must be responsive, demonstrate strong business acumen, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels regarding HR support. Role includes significant change management initiatives which will enable the workforce to meet business objectives effectively and drive results in current and future planning. Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to build and leverage effective relationships, and work in a matrix organization. Position requires partnership with program, functional and COE leaders to implement HR strategies and processes that drive business strategic objectives. Today, Derco is an integrator and full service logistics solutions provider supporting military and commercial fleets in 65 countries.Desired Skills: • Previous HRBP experience • Previous HR support to a site/region of approx. 200 employees or greater• Demonstrated proficiency in coaching and influencing skills. • Strong talent assessment and development skills• Strong strategic problem-solving attributes• Strong computer skills using HR applications, HR reporting and MS office suite• Experience working in a matrix organization• Analytic and program management skills• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies, procedures and practices• Willingness to travel as needed Basic Qualifications: • This position is expected to have strong HR knowledge base and provide support to the assigned client base with seamless integration of HR services. • Must possess a diverse set of skills across HR disciplines. • Must possess strong communication, facilitation, coaching and influencing skills. • Ability to influence management and handle a broad range of HR issues in a fast paced environment.• Ability to proactively look at data and activities, determine potential problems, and develop solutions.• Ability to conduct investigations to include information and data gathering, analyzing information, and validating conclusions. • Ability to build and leverage effective relationships and influence decisions and behaviors through partnering and business case analysis. • Highly effective communication, presentation and facilitation skills.• Ability to work independently.
