Job Number: 451950Payroll SpecialistJob Responsibilities:Processes bi-weekly payroll and maintains a customer service focus and customer-centered approach when dealing with employees at all levels of the organization. Maintains all payroll files and confidentiality of and ensures security of personnel and company data.Maintains accuracy of time-tracking system on a regular basis. Responsible for preparing and distributing reports as scheduled and required. Answers employee questions related to pay and benefits deductions and resolves any issues with benefits. Processes all new hire information, terminations, salary changes, leaves of absence, deductions, garnishments and other earnings. Reconciles insurance provider invoices (medical, dental, vision, disability) and approves for payment. Reports salary adjustment to providers as required. Ensures delivery of 401(k) elections data to the provider and correct input of data into payroll system. Tracks employee sick and vacation time. Calculates sick and vacation time according to company sick and vacation policies.Prepares and distributes Accrual Report according to schedule. Processes requests for verification of employment. Responds to unemployment claims Job Requirements: Possesses proficiency in relevant Microsoft Office programs; Excel, Outlook and Word.2 years of payroll processing experienceProficiency with any of large payroll systems: Ultipro, Lawson, ADP, Kronos, Peoplesoft, and etc.
