The Leave of Absence Coordinator will support the Leave of Absence Specialist in performing professional-level benefits services for Sprouts Farmers Market. This position will provide administrative support in managing the Leave Administration Program and work closely with the company\u2019s employees, management and 3rd party vendors.
Respond to questions, concerns and inquiries from a variety of parties including employees, dependents, providers, and vendors; concerning leave administration such as FMLA, CRFA, and Personal Leave
Send applicable letters to employees detailing the status of their leave.
Respond to state disability forms
Conduct audits of programs as directed
Partner with LOA Specialist on various leave inquires
Maintain tracking records for LOA correspondence
Work effectively with the team and support other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements
Associates degree in Business Administration or closely related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of three (2) years of experience in a professional human resources and benefits administration setting
Must fully understand and be able to apply FMLA, CFRA, and other leaves
Must have strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Experience in using HRIS systems such as: ADP, UtliPro, etc.
Be able to interpret and explain variety of computer-generated reports
Give effective small and large group presentations
Be able to analyze information, draw conclusions, make recommendations and provide thoughtful and thorough analysis
Work with highly sensitive and confidential employee benefit issues and perform complex, confidential and sensitive assignments
Must be effective in both oral and written communication
Explain complex programs in simple, non-technical language
Be responsive and customer service oriented
Listen and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and use good judgment in prioritizing work assignments
