CORPORATE HR DIRECTOR- Recruitment
Responsible for the leadership and management of the employment processes and systems in support of corporate and property operations. Provides generalist human resources support for corporate facility.
Develop recruitment strategies and manage the candidate experience and the employment processes for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
Serve as leader for the management and support of the Rosewood Talent System (RTS) as powered by HRSmart to include, but not limited to; training, system administration and modifications, and management and evaluation of partnerships with third party vendors.
Developing resources to enhance the collection of quality candidates within the database to include, creating partnerships with outside recruiting sources, search firm relationships as preferred vendor status and specialty recruiting sites to facilitate position placements.
Plan, prepare and evaluate succession planning tools, processes and procedures.
Develop and maintain college relations to include annual management of internship placements.
Prescreen, interview and facilitate the onsite interview process for all corporate candidates. Coordinate orientation process for corporate new hires.
Serve as liaison with immigration attorney and staff in the pursuit of visas and work permits.
Develop and maintain current job descriptions for all positions.
Administer, train and evaluate the assessment tools for management and line staff.
Review background checks and drug testing results, coordinating with Medical Review Officer as necessary.
Analyze staffing metrics and processes for continued improvement.
Prepare and adhere to relevant Human Resources budget (Recruitment, Relocation, Employee Relations, etc.)
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
Provide generalist services for corporate staff in the areas of coaching, counseling and discipline procedures, employee and community relations, policy and procedure administration.
All other duties as required.
Experience: Minimum ten plus years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Recruitment Manager in hospitality industry at a corporate/property level.
Education: College degree or equivalent experience.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to organize tasks, thorough understanding of training process, solid planning skills; strong knowledge of government labor laws and regulations, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Lotus Notes and HRSmart, knowledge of budget preparation and control.

Caroline Rose Hunt is one of Dallas' leading ladies from her business ventures to her philanthropic efforts. She has been the guiding spirit behind The Rosewood Corporation, a family owned company with diverse worldwide operations and investments, formed in 1976. Caroline has worn many hats in her lifetime including author, traveler, gourmet, entrepreneur, philanthropist, mother of five, grandmother of nineteen, and great-grandmother of seventeen. Of all her worldwide accomplishments and honors, she is most proud of her children and her family. Since 1980 with the opening of The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Rosewood became synonymous with the very best in luxury accommodations. Amenities for the hotel in London led to her creation of Lady Primrose's, Inc. an entire company devoted to luxury bathing and skin products. Her antiques emporium and tea room, Lady Primrose's Shopping English Countryside, was named the best spot for tea in the US by the British Tea Council. Always in love with words, in 2000 she published her first novel Primrose Past: The 1848 Journal of Young Lady Primrose. She also published The Compleat Pumpkin Cookbook and A Family Cooks as well as contributed columns and articles in art and antique, travel and women's magazines. She has been involved in many philanthropic efforts including the United Way and received the national award from the Tocqueville Society for her dedication. She is a co-founder of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation where she continues to serve as vice-chair. She supports the Retina Foundation of the Southwest, the Junior League of Dallas, the Texas Council of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Tiffany Circle of the Red Cross, Celebration of Reading, Heritage Foundation, Crystal Charity Ball, Charter 100, The Dallas Woman's Club, as well as numerous non-profits and arts groups. For ten years she served as a Trustee of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
