Directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure that the employment process and related actions/activities are consistent with and support all business plans and goals Develop and manage the training and employment budgets. Collaborate with supervisors and managers to quantify, via needs assessments, individual employee and departmental development and training requirements.Plan, source, develop and/or conduct as applicable. Partner with senior management to identify high potential employees, and create and administer personal development plans and succession planning initiatives. Provide overall management of all people and organization development processes to include performance appraisals, corporate succession planning programs, educational assistance, internships, career development, mobility planning, etc. Ensure compliance with all training related requirements for ISO 9000 and all other customer standards and criteria, as applicable Partner with senior management to ensure that new development programs/practices complement and enhance the achievement of long term strategic business objectives Ensure that all mandated training is conducted and recorded, to include:Interviewing, Standards of Business Conduct, Workplace Harassment, etc. Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment related statutes such as EEOC, non-discrimination, record keeping, etc. Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law. Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization. Partner with senior management to develop manpower forecasts and goals, and develop recruitment strategies to implement. Supervisory Responsibilities Manages HR Team and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of several locations.HR Director carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
