About The Role:
We are looking for a contract junior recruiter for 60-90 days to help the recruiting department while we are in the final stages of our “peak” season. We have an incredibly high volume of positions to fill and resumes to screen and need an extra pair of recruiting hands to help us do it.
Manage the flow of incoming resumes from various sources
Handle the initial steps of the process including preliminary screening and sorting of resumes and first stage phone screens of applicants
Presentation of resumes with summary of candidate background for potential opportunities
Assist with coordinating interviews
Communicate with candidates regularly regarding their pending status
Assist with administrative tasks to support the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager
Ensure an outstanding candidate experience throughout the process
Experience in any related logistics/transportation/supply chain field is ideal, but not required
3 years recruiting experience
Previous passive candidate recruitment & cold calling experience required
Results driven & competitive nature required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
Must be able to multi-task but remain focused
Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining candidate quality
