Northrop Grumman is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join the Enterprise Compensation Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing enterprise compensation support to include broad-based compensation, recognition and incentive plans, compensation analytics, policy interpretation and training development and delivery.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with the administration of Northrop Grumman's compensation structures and philosophy across all functions and levels within the organization, inclusive of base pay, variable pay, and hourly pay programs.
Collaborating with compensation colleagues and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to provide guidance on total compensation solutions.
Reviewing job classifications, position descriptions and market data to make recommendations with respect to job qualifications in support of company policy and organization budgets.
Supporting the annual merit and incentive planning process.
Developing reoccurring and ad-hoc compensation reports / analytics.
Development and delivery of enterprise compensation training and communications.
Collaborating with the sectors to ensure strong change management in support of compensation-related policy and procedure roll-outs and/or updates.
Collaborating with the Talent Management & Development organization, identify and develop HR and Manager training, resources and communication materials for the Assessing & Rewarding Process.
Supporting salary and bonus planning system implementations, upgrades and conversions using standard system requirements, case studies, and test scripts.
ESCSO Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Math, Finance or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years compensation or related experience or master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Math, Finance or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year compensation or related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of excel formulas and developing pivot tables.
Demonstrated effective presentation skills and techniques.
Certified Compensation Professional or progress towards certification.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft including query writing.
Familiar with Microsoft Visual Basic (VBA) and building macros.
Previous experience with an aerospace and defense company of comparable size and complexity to Northrop Grumman.
Prior experience or familiar with Service Contract Act (SCA) covered contracts or Wage Determination.
Superior writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as attention to detail.
Ability to work and communicate well with management.
Strong work ethic and collaborative approach.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated knowledge in managing large amounts of data in MS Excel.
Strong focus on quality of work and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, but collaborating in a team environment.
