Description Role Summary\/Purpose: The Region HR Director will be a key member of the region\u2019s leadership team and business partner to the Region Europe General Manager. The Region HR Director will lead the development and implementation of an integrated human resources strategy for the region. Duties of this role include leadership of the HR organization across the region, accountability for the delivery of HR services and programs in compliance, talent management\/development\/retention, recruitment, succession planning, employee and labor relations, work time regulation management, workforce planning, and organizational development & culture. Essential Functions: Partner with the Region Europe GM and Global HR Leader in delivering HR services to the region that enable the business strategy and support the long term growth agenda Engage with field & resources operations leaders & functional leaders in region for delivery of HR programs and services and understanding and meeting their teams\u2019 needs in region Partner with the Region Leader to drive a high performance culture across the leadership team Work closely with Legal and share joint accountability for country compliance, employee & labor relations strategy, management of employee and labor relations and engagement with employee representatives, Works Councils, and Trade Unions as applicable Manage organizational development and change management in line with operating plans Drive a culture of integrity through proactive compliance and adherence to the FieldCore The Spirit & The Letter Integrity Program Identify and develop organization strategies for the region by identifying and researching HR issues; contributing information, trends, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction Scenario plan with the Region Europe GM for longer term org planning Manage investigations and represent the company in relevant legal matters relating to employee relations, disciplinary, dispute and grievance management, internal investigations, etc Lead HR team and organization across the region. Hold functional accountability for the HR organization in the region to be effective business partners Drive positive employee relations culture through strong front line leadership in HR team Partner with COE teams (i.e., Compliance, Comp & Ben, Org Talent & Development) as they relate to regional program implementation Lead talent management & succession planning process & rigor across the region annually. Drive talent development programs. Provide input into design and development of HR initiatives, accountability for region delivery Identify emerging workforce issues related to compensation and benefit practices and develop innovative solutionsQualifications\/Requirements: Bachelors degree or 4 year degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of combined experience Human Resources, including in the areas of Employee\/Labor Relations, Talent Management, Recruiting\/Staffing and Compensation\/Benefits in a multi-national\/international company 3 or more years of global or region leadership experience Must be fluent in English; additional languages applicable to Europe preferredDesired Characteristics: Master's Degree preferred Prior acquisition integration experience 15 years of combined experience Human Resources, including in the areas of Employee\/Labor Relations, Talent Management, Recruiting\/Staffing and Compensation\/Benefits in a multi-national\/international company Ability to build relationships, trust, and interface effectively across multiple organizations and businesses Strong presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills. Comfortable presenting to executive level leaders Strong leadership skills. Able to engage, listen to, and welcome employees as part of cultural integration. Change agent; able to confront and handle ambiguity, and steady under pressure. Strong knowledge of GE Power Services\u2019 or Granite Services\u2019 field operations and services business model Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of FieldCore High energy, self-starter Strong oral and written communication skills
