Summary/Objective: The primary focus of the HRIS Analyst and Project Manager is to support WorkDay, the companys human resource management system (HRMS). This position serves as the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas within Human Resources (Great Teams!) and assists subject matter experts (recruiting, HRM, benefits, learning, talent, projects, compensation, performance management) with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Essential Functions: Project Management & Process Improvements: * Researches current and future capabilities of WorkDay to understand how the company can best utilize the new functionality * Plans and executes the integration and data conversion activities of the new capabilities through flawless project management * Recommend process/service improvements and innovation solutions to streamline processes * Use project management skills and serve as overall project manager for HR initiatives related to WorkDay modules (recruiting, HRM, benefits, learning, talent, projects, compensation, performance management) * Produce high quality documentation, including business requirements, procedures, operational and process flow documents, and test scripts Production & Operational Support: * Solicits, develops, documents, and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business rule to support the requirements * Works with functional users and L&D team to create end-user documentation and training * Develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans for new releases of WorkDay and acquisition implementations * Recommend solutions and alternate methods to meet requirements Reporting & Analytics: * Develop dashboards for leaders * Create, manage and report on HR team analytics/metrics * Write, maintain and support a variety of reports and adhoc data requests using WorkDay * Maintain data integrity and accuracy in reporting and analysis * Analyzes internal data and perform research to introduce best -in-class descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics System Maintenance & Testing: * Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRM upgrades or patches. * Collaborate with subject matter experts and the technical HRIS analyst in finance. * Document processes and results Competencies * Technical * Analytical * Communication * Project Management (managing multiple projects) * Critical Thinking/Problem Solving * Business Acumen * High attention to detail Required Education and Experience * Bachelors degree in computer science, analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience * Two-five years experience with Workday HRM system * Two-five years experience project management experience * System implementation experience * Working knowledge of HR processes * Ability to work collaboratively under stress and deadlines * Maintains confidentiality of highly sensitive information * Time management * Advanced data analytics skills Preferred Education and Experience * SHRM Certification * Certified Project Management * Advanced knowledge MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, v-lookup) and proficient in PowerPoint
