Wells Fargo's success depends upon its ability to attract and retain top financial services talent. The Diversity Sourcing Group (DSG) is a team of recruiting specialists who support the firm by proactively identifying and attracting the best and brightest with a keen focus on Diversity.

The DSG Sourcing Consultant (SC) will focus primarily on the construction and execution of national external searches for some of Wells Fargo's most challenging to fill senior-level positions. Throughout the recruiting life-cycle, the SC will partner closely with line of business hiring managers and corporate Recruiting Consultants (RC) to ensure a high quality candidate experience that will enhance Wells' reputation as an employer of choice.

After being engaged on a specific search, the SC will be responsible for conducting an intake session to define the target candidate and to establish the project framework for a successful sourcing campaign. The SC will be expected to effectively consult with internal partners on essential elements such as compensation, the competitive landscape, marketing strategies, search timelines, administrative processes, etc.

After the external search is launched, the SC will lead the effort to identify, contact, recruit, and screen prospective candidates for the vacant role. The SC will utilize a variety of tools to locate prospects, and they will invest extraordinary effort to identify qualified prospects that are diverse by gender, race, ethnicity, military services, disability, and sexual orientation. The SC must be able to persuasively promote the benefits of Wells Fargo career opportunities to external passive prospects, and they must also be able to quickly develop trust and rapport.

The SC will often manage their sourced Candidates through the Wells Fargo selection process including the presentation and negotiation of employment offers. The SC will help ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process by communicating effectively, identifying critical issues, and providing professional guidance to both hiring managers and candidates.

In addition to executing searches on active requisitions, the Sourcing Consultant will be responsible for establishing and nurturing long-term talent pipelines of key job families. Further, it is expected that the SC will develop a thorough understanding of the business landscape and will supply competitive intelligence to line of business leaders.

The SC may be asked to support more senior members of the DSG team with particularly challenging search assignments. They may also be assigned research assignments and special projects as needed/requested by Wells Fargo leaders.

Finally, the Sourcing Consultant will be accountable for effective risk management and regulatory compliance. In particular, the SC will manage reporting/tracking activities as required by OFCCP regulations and will support Wells Fargo ability to achieve its Affirmative Action goals.

Location: The preferred location(s) for this job opening are as listed in the job posting (Charlotte, NC). However, other locations may be considered for this opportunity.

Required Qualifications

* 4 years of recruiting experience, human resources consulting experience, or a combination of both

* 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience

Desired Qualifications

* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

* Financial services experience

* Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

* Experience with diversity candidate sourcing

* Experience consulting on and negotiating complex compensation packages

* Ability to build and execute pro-active sourcing strategies for hard to fill specialty positions

* Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

* Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements

* Applicant tracking systems experience

* A BS/BA degree or higher in business, finance, or economics

Other Desired Qualifications

* Sourcing experience in a retained, agency or corporate recruitment environment

* Experience in leveraging multiple sourcing outlets to identify and attract a qualified, diverse candidate pool. (i.e. internet sourcing, networking, cold calling, research, etc.)
