PeopleSoft Payroll Business Analyst
Job duties:
Creates business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents as necessary due to enhancements, tax and bundle applications, etc
Reviews PeopleSoft Tax and Bundle releases and assess impact to current business processes and customizations
Works with software users and vendors to solve application problems and assist with the design, integration and testing of delivered and customized code
Develops functional test plans, regression tests of system repairs, enhancements, tax updates and bundles and coordinates user acceptance testing prior to the changes being moved to production
Troubleshoots complex system problems within business applications by analyzing system configuration settings, process logs, and related transaction data
Performs 2- tier production help desk support including understanding error messages, know how to identify data errors, and understand common processing errors
Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in a business / allied health profession required
5 years of Payroll Functional experience PeopleSoft version 8.9 or higher
5 years of experience in HCM suite in Core HR, Benefits Administration, Self-Service, Payroll integration to PeopleSoft General Ledger, Commitment Accounting
Experience and Knowledge of Integration points to and from PeopleSoft HCM system
Experience accessing, querying, analyzing large, complex sets of business transaction and process data. Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Access, Excel, PS query or similar
Hands-on experience supporting functional users by analyzing and troubleshooting system problems, and employing both a methodical approach, knowledge of financial and SCM system processes, and system and data analysis tools
