The Central HR Administrator maintains divisional administrative practices concerning HRIS, timekeeping/payroll and customer support. Monitors, audits and troubleshoots HRIS system functionality, processes and performance, and recommends enhancements when necessary. Responsible for preparing and facilitating periodic training sessions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Handles Central HR Mailbox/ Salesforce Case Management System including (but not limited to) inputting and uploading associate job data changes, researching and responding to inquiries from associates and field HR, system access requests, etc.
Ensures timeliness of processing while maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy and productivity.
Researches, resolves and responds to payroll, PTO, timekeeping questions and system issues.
Uses Microsoft Excel to manipulate reports and spreadsheets.
Runs Oracle HCM and PeopleSoft queries and creates reports.
Working knowledge of the Position Management system with the ability to establish and assign position numbers and also detect position number errors.
Handles issues and inquiries related to credit accounts.
Participates in special projects and events.
Facilitates and participates in company committees, i.e. PIT, Diversity.
All other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years experience in an HR or HRIS function preferred.
Prior administrative experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Adds, subtracts, divides and multiplies in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
Bends, stoops and kneels. Frequently stands and walks. Talks and hears.
Uses hands to touch, handle, feel or otherwise manipulate objects, tools or controls.
Performs substantial, repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

Lifts and moves items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Microsoft Excel Skills to include but not limited to basic formula writing, creating and running macros, VBA, data sorting and filtering, and table formatting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the timekeeping systems payrules and workrules or willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of HRIS systems to include but not limited to Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, JRQ/OLF, Position Management, Kronos, Taleo, InSite, and MTO (Macys Time Off).
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
