We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator
to support our Greenwood, IN Factory. The role will support and report to our onsite Manager. Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
General HR Support:
Respond timely to employee issues and questions related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies and programs.
Provide administrative support for and coordination of NWNA s HR processes, including leaves management, performance management, new hire onboarding, exit interviews, and leadership development
Support and lead communications, change management and training for projects as needed.
Lead ad-hoc HR projects in support of the HR Operational Master Plan and/or functional HR priorities
Assists with the Annual Benefit Enrollment Process
Assists with the Annual Wage Survey Process
Effectively onboard employees through facilitation of Day 1 New Hire onboarding sessions
Manage the hourly job posting application process, recruiting efforts, applicant tracking, phone interviews and target selection interviewing and scheduling.
Coordinates post-hire activities, to include new hire orientation, oversee training bootcamp program, conduct exit interviews, and complete all unemployment documentation
Provide counsel and support to managers and employees on ongoing HR initiatives, policies and projects
Talent & Performance Management:
Support Supervisors on leading through hourly Performance review process through calibration sessions and completion of mid and year end reviews.
Maintain compliance for existing personnel files, new hire files, and terminated employee files; complete and re-verify I-9s as needed, ensure completion of required compliance trainings, and facilitate the exit process for terminating employees.
Understands the requirements for compliance KPIs and remain compliant (Hours of Work, ACA, I-9, etc.).
Coordinates leave of absence paperwork and tracking to include voluntary layoffs, FMLA, Military leave, etc.
Assists with annual Regulatory Compliance and internal audits
Nestl Continuous Excellence:
Promote and foster the Nestl Continuous Excellence culture through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a catalyst for change management.
Act as Pillar on the NCE Pillar Teams and provide HR support where needed
Support the Payroll process utilizing Kronos, comply with compliance processes for record retention
Order and Maintain office supplies, uniforms etc.
Provides administrative support to the factory with payment of invoices, oversight of purchase orders, accounts payable, and PCard administration
Lead existing Recognition program and continually assess for additional improvements
Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:
Associates degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field required. Bachelor s degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a Generalist capacity
Prior experience in manufacturing or the consumer products industry desired
Knowledge of appropriate federal and state regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access); SAP, Kronos and Taleo experience a plus!
Ability to lead though influence in a collaborate environment
Demonstrated experience partnering on business/operational issues
Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker s compensation
Demonstrated communication abilities at multiple levels of the organization, including creating effective communication tools such as PowerPoint decks, talking points, etc.
Demonstrated organization skills leading to the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to gain trust and credibility with employees and leaders; Excellent relationship building skills with people at all levels and in all functions
Excellent communication and organizational skills; Ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work self-directed with a sense of urgency
