Human Resources Generalist - Part Time','1800307','!*!Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a hands-on Part Time Human Resources Generalist who will be supporting Sales & Marketing for the Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort. This role will drive strategy and support organizational initiatives. This individual is responsible for ensuring that hiring, employment, and termination practices are compliant with company policy as well as state and federal statutes. She/He will also be held accountable for partnering with hiring managers to promote communication and employment practices that have a positive impact on the reduction of turnover, employee morale, and overall business results.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Maintain current knowledge and understanding of business principles, regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.Educate and counsel management regarding employee relations issues including, but not limited to investigation, discipline, communication, termination, hiring, training, etc.Assist in the continuous development, implementation and improvement of programs and processes that provide associates (staff and management) opportunities to regularly perform to the best of their abilities, to consistently achieve mutually agreed upon goals, and to continually improve performance results.Advise and coach managers and supervisors on ways to consistently and effectively role-model behaviors and communications that create a collaborative environment in which there prevails respectful behavior, trusting relationships, cooperative interactions, fair treatment, quality performance and positive morale.Provide information and coordinate activity related to established HR policies, procedures, or regulations (i.e., benefits, performance, EEO, safety, etc.)Coordinate and facilitate HR initiatives to include new hire orientation programPartner with Recruiting to ensure we attract top talent in a timely and cost effective mannerAssist with key management development and project initiatives that respond to current and projected organizational needs. Assist the HR Manager in the implementation of organization-wide projects and programs as needed.
