We are still led by our Co-founders, Tarek Sherif and Glen de Vries, and have global operations in US, Europe and Asia with over 2000 employees.Your Mission: The Manager, Technical Talent Acquisition will develop and implement the strategies and tactics necessary for Medidata to effectively identify and recruit the technology skills sets and manpower required  to sustain its growth and success.  Working across all Medidata departments to manage the organization’s overall recruitment strategy, the Manager of Technical Talent Acquisition will oversee the seamless administration of all recruitment-related activities and processes, and ensure the competitiveness and legal compliance of Medidata’s overall talent acquisition practices.Overall RecruitmentProvide day-to-day management of the Recruitment team, including coaching, ensuring and measuring efficiency and effectiveness, and prioritizing work Partner with other HR staff (Operations, Compensation, Organizational Development) as necessaryPartner closely with hiring managers globally to ensure that staffing needs are understood and metWork with other groups such as Marketing to create effective recruitment and employment branding campaigns, via use of the internet, social media, job boards, industry-specific media, networking and college relationsImprove time-to-hire and cost-per-hireAs a super-user of our HCMS (Human Capital Management System), report regularly on vacancy rates, vacancy aging, time-to-fill and cost-per-hire, and maintain accurate applicant tracking data for EEO/AAP reportingContinuously improve processes and procedures to make the talent acquisition process as seamless and simple as possible for end-usersDraw on expertise and experience to optimize, diversify and target recruiting sourcesProvide hands-on recruitment assistance as requiredHelp determine and manage the recruitment budgetProgram ManagementCreate specific talent acquisition programs designed to:Expand our efforts to maintain the diversity of our workforce at all levelsBuild relationships with colleges and universities globally to expand Medidata’s employment brand and create a repeatable source of qualified entry-level candidatesMaintain and manage the Employee Referral and Hot Jobs programsOther duties as assignedYour Education & Experience:Experience managing a talent acquisition function for a technology and/or healthcare-focused organization required; experience managing in a SaaS environment and/or a healthcare IT environment preferred5 years of direct talent acquisition experienceDirect experience with sourcing, interviewing and selecting candidatesStrong communication skillsProficiency with HR technology and strong experience with Applicant Tracking SystemsUndergraduate degree in finance, HRM, or related field preferredMedidata is making a real difference in the lives of patients everywhere by accelerating critical drug and medical device development, enabling life-saving drugs and medical devices to get to market faster.
