Position Overview:\u00a0 The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all onboarding paperwork, managing the departmental front desk, and handling all HR related admin tasks for the department. Experience working with unions is a huge plus. Responsibilities of the\u00a0Human Resources Coordinator: Run payroll for the department Manage all administrative tasks, including filing, answering departmental calls, and greeting visitors Assist with payroll processes and train new employees on timekeeping protocol Schedule orientations for new hires, manage all onboarding paperwork, and coordinate with the IT department to create new staff accounts and computers Answer and\/or delegate any questions to the correct HR personnel Process all departmental hiring\/employee paperwork, including new hire paperwork, transfers, bonuses, and terminations Schedule exit interviews and conduct exit interviews for non-exempt workers. Analyze exit surveys and compile reports Manage temporary hiring and student workers Maintain departmental Intranet Update all departmental personnel files and paperwork Assist with recruitment coordination as needed to include posting jobs online and coordinating interviews Qualifications for the\u00a0Human Resources Coordinator: 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar Human Resources Coordinator position Positive and patient attitude Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is a plus Experience working with a union is a plus Education Requirements: Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher
