About the role: The Director HR Business Partner for Maple Grove Plant Operations will provide strategic HR leadership and direction to the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality functions. In this role, she\/he will act as the trusted advisor to the VP, Operations, and will\u00a0partner with senior business leaders to guide, develop and drive organizational effectiveness, support the execution of business strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes. Thjs individual will provide HR oversight and leadership across manufacturing, supply chain and quality HR teams. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations and work closely with the broader HR Global Operations team in executing the HR strategy across this organization. Your responsibilities include: \u00a0 Responsible for providing HR leadership in succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, labor relations, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement. Set strategic direction and guide staff in the design, development and execution of organizational effectiveness and development programs. Partners with functional leaders to develop strategic workforce plans and to contribute to business strategy development\/key business decisions. Leverage HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of the business. Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making long-range strategic decisions related to human capital. Consult with senior business leaders to ensure strategic alignment between business unit objectives and human capital initiatives. Responsible for identifying gaps between current organizational capabilities, required competencies and skills, and the future strategic objectives of the organization. Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with functional leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization. Design, develop, and implement human capital reporting, metrics and analytics tools and processes. Build the right culture and work closely with top management to drive and embed company values and behaviors and ensure leaders leverage these to motivate and engage teams. Set strategic direction and guide the Site HR team in the design, development and execution of organizational development initiatives. Build and share functional expertise, industry insights and best practices with the global HR teams to ensure high level HR quality support to the business.\u00a0 Lead and\/or support the successful integration of acquisitions and plant network optimization programs. Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. What we\u2019re looking for: Basic Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree in HR, business\u00a0or a related field of study 15 years\u2019 experience in a progressive Human Resources organization or relevant business environment Preferred Qualifications HR experience supporting global operations functions is preferred Comfortable working in a matrixed, global growth-oriented corporate environment. Previous experience initiating and leading change initiatives Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex business challenges, both urgent short-term issues and long-term strategic items. Experience with developing and implementing custom talent management strategies A deep understanding of how to build talent in an organization both in terms of acquisition and development. Has worked on creating engagement and retention strategies and plans with successful deployment. Strong commitment to defining and delivering diversity and inclusion strategies. Ability to drive global consistency in HR practices across a global organization Ability to envision, drive and manage complex organizational change and development coupled with relentless follow-through to ensure successful outcomes. Strong business acumen coupled with proven, in-depth experience in assessing, identifying, designing and implementing talent management and organization effectiveness initiatives. Demonstrated cultural agility and ability to effectively lead across many different cultures Thrives in a team oriented, high demand and high-performance culture. Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions when needed Executive presence and polish, with strong, ethics and intellectual honesty. Demonstrated ability and understanding of need to collaborate globally, across divisions, regions, and global functions.\u00a0 Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong global networks Demonstrated global mindset and ability to connect dots across multiple initiatives, functions, etc.
