Skills of Central PA is seeking a Full Time Recruitment & Retention Coordinator to work as a member in our Human Resources department, with primary location at our Corporate office in State College PA. The schedule for this position is primarily Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm, with some flexibility required. Skills is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The Recruitment & Retention Coordinator is responsible for the complete on-boarding process for all new employees of Skills and coordinating retention programs of newly hired and current employees. Duties include posting positions, pre-screening telephone interviews, video interviewing, conducting reference checks, extending offers of employment, verifying education, processing applicable background checks and screens, and other duties associated with initial employee on-boarding. The Recruitment & Retention Coordinator will also coordinate programs to enhance retention efforts, including conducting periodic touch-point meetings within the employees's first 90-days of employment, and other initiatives that focus on maintaining current Skills' employees.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related field; or a combination of education and/or Human Resources experience.
A minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience (with focus on recruitment, selection, screening, interviewing, and retention) is required.
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
Valid PA driver’s license and pre-employment screening required.
